Tobias Bjerregaard, Founder and CEO
Dr. Tobias Bjerregaard is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Teklatech A/S. Under Dr. Bjerregaard's leadership, Teklatech introduced the first version of FloorDirector®, the company's flagship EDA software solution that became commercially available in 2008.
Dr. Bjerregaard has spent more than a decade with a focus on leading-edge micro-electronics and has invented and patented several semiconductor technological innovations in the areas of power integrity and clock distribution networks. His patented technologies enable IC vendors to enhance quality and reliability of advanced semiconductor products, to eliminate costly silicon re-spins, and to achieve faster turn-around-time and time-to-market, and higher yield, of smaller, faster, more profitable semiconductor products that exploit the full potential of nanometer technologies.
Dr. Bjerregaard has received numerous prestigious accolades for his individual achievements and industry contributions, including the Best Paper Award for his outstanding work on “A Scheduling Discipline for Latency and Bandwidth Guarantees in Asynchronous Network-on-Chip” published by IEEE (2005), and the AEG Educational and Research Award (2005). Dr. Bjerregaard has written and presented a range of papers for leading industry publications and conferences and has worldwide recognition for his contribution and achievements. He holds MS.EE. and Ph.D. degrees in micro-electronics.
Christian Petersen, VP of Worldwide Sales
In his career, Christian has headed multiple sales and marketing efforts to target markets and new business strategies within mixed-signal, power and wireless semiconductors. With +15 years of senior sales and business development experience working for leading global companies such as Analog Devices, Motorola and Freescale, he brings extensive business, analytic and commercial execution experience to Teklatech. The profound understanding of 'blue ocean strategy' and agile hands-on execution makes Christian ideal to drive Teklatech's customer engagements forward.
Christian joined Teklatech in 2009 from a position as Sales Director in Wolfson Microelectronics, where he headed Tier 1 mobile manufacturer penetration.
He holds a Business Administration Bachelor degree focused on Management, Marketing, Leadership, Technology and Finance, utilizing faculty from premier business schools Harvard, Haas and Berkeley.
