InvestorsVækstfonden is a state investment fund, which aims to create new growth companies and to provide venture capital and competence. Since 1992 Vækstfonden has, in cooperation with private investors, co-financed growth in more than 4,000 Danish companies with a total commitment of more than DKK 7.7 B ($ 1.5 B). SEED Capital is the largest venture fund in Denmark within the pre-seed and seed segment. SEED Capital administers both venture capital and governmental funds. The fund distinguishes itself from traditional venture funds by being able to invest at the very early stage of the start-up companies and at the later stages by continuous capital contribution. The fund holds approximately US $100 million for new investments. ØD-S Holding A/S is a Danish company, which invests in engineering and IT start-ups. The company is the former owner of Ødegaard & Danneskiold-Samsøe A/S, sold September 1st 2005 to Lloyd’s Register (UK) and Ødegaard A/S sold May 5th 2006 to Schlumberger Inc (USA).
